of their new sub-brand Omoda to
Cthe media in SA today. Omoda is
an upmarket brand aimed at the style and
fashion-conscious buyer and is packed with
technology.
Built on the same platform as the Chery
Tiggo 4 and 7, the Omoda 5 introduces
extremely sharp and sleek styling in a coupe/
crossover/SUV body.
Powered by a 1.5l 4-cylinder turbo
petrol engine delivering 115kW and 230Nm
to the front wheels through a 9-step CVT
automatic transmission, the Omoda promises
performance to match the sleek looks.
The model shown includes features like
remote starting and opening of windows
and tailgate from the key fob. The interior
features a 12.25-inch touchscreen plus a Priced from R447 900 to R509 900 depending on specification levels, all sharing the same
large instrument screen alongside looking drivetrain. The value proposition even includes a 5-year/90 000km service plan and a unique
like one large screen across the fascia. 10-year/1 million km warranty for the first buyer. n
