This year marks the seventh edition of FORBES WOMAN AFRICA’s Leading Women
Summit, an annual event that brings together female leaders and trailblazers in various
fields ranging from technology and entertainment to business, sport and more. The
summit celebrates the achievements of women in Africa and across the world, and each
                                year individual accomplishments are recognised.

This year’s two-day virtual event was held on 8 and 9 March. At the end of the summit,
outstanding achievers were awarded in various categories and were congratulated
by Renuka Methil, managing editor of FORBES AFRICA and FORBES WOMAN AFRICA,

“Now, more than ever, we need bold leadership that considers the greater socio-
economic impact and identifies opportunities for development within and beyond
Africa. These women have overcome so many challenges and, in doing so, embody this
year’s theme: Resetting Everything: The New Face of Leadership.”
