Did you ever feel the softness of a rose petal?

Did you ever touch the delicateness of a butterfly’s wings?
Did you ever saw raindrops that shine like diamonds on a flower?
Did you ever listen to the wind singing songs through the leaves?

Did you ever feel the wind in your hair?
Did you ever feel the rain on your face?

Did you ever stop to look at the tiniest flower?
Did you ever see the birds’ playful banter after a rainstorm?
Did you ever walk through a rain forest and cried cause it’s beautiful?

Did you ever look into a newborn baby’s eyes and sees the expectancy there?
If you’ve never done any of these things, you have not start to live.
This is what God’s creation is all about.

Try and do some of these things and you’ll feel light,
aware of everything around you, yes, almost newborn!
This is life, this is the way to live, this is the way to your heart,

this is the beauty of the world! Enjoy it! God gave it to us.

Berge bruin, groen, blou, pers en grys

tot daar waar die reënboog se punt wys.
Dit is asemrowend mooi
die natuur soos deur God getooi.

Geen wêreld beroemde skilder of tekenaar
kan ooit hierdie mooi uit God’s hand ewenaar.
Tog is daar so min wat dit raaksien

alles wat ons kry sonder om dit te verdien.
Die veld met ‘n nuwe groen grastapyt oortrek

nuwe lentelewe so ver as wat die oog kan strek.
