                                                                                                          ESTATE MATTERS
                                                                                                    HOME FRONT
students—so each learner gets the attention
they need while benefiting from group
         discussions.

“Students often understand things better when
they explain them to each other, but that only
works when the group is small enough for
         everyone to participate.”

Jess focuses on addressing gaps in earlier
learning that often hold students back.
“Most struggles in higher grades come from
something that wasn’t fully grasped a few
years earlier. When we revisit those areas and
fill the gaps, students build confidence, and
         progress follows.”

Her teaching style is practical and encourages
         problem-solving. “It’s not about getting
         everything right—it’s about knowing how
to approach problems step by step. Even if
students aren’t sure of the answer, showing
their thinking can still earn marks and build
         confidence.”

         COLLABORATING WITH PARENTS
         FOR STUDENT SUCCESS
Jess believes in honest conversations with
parents to set realistic goals and ensure
the best outcome for each learner. She
understands that not every student must
pursue pure math or advanced sciences to
         succeed.
“I tell parents it’s about finding what works
best for their child. A strong result in Maths
Literacy can open more doors than a low mark
in pure Maths. The goal is to set students up
MORE THAN JUST BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE
         for success, not frustration.”

         THROUGH WORKSHOPS AND
         MENTORSHIP
TUT ORING Looking to the future, Jess plans to introduce
intensive workshops focusing on key topics
and exam preparation. She also hopes to bring
university students as assistant tutors, offering
         them valuable mentorship and hands-on
         teaching experience.
“It’s about more than managing the workload—
         giving future educators meaningful experience
         and building something sustainable for
         everyone involved.”
         MORE THAN JUST TUTORING
JSJ Tuition is about more than helping
         students pass exams—it’s about fostering
         independence, building skills, and helping
learners feel confident in their abilities. With
         her science background and thoughtful,
         personalised approach, Jess offers something
rare: expert teaching with real empathy.

“My goal is for students to
         leave not just with better
          marks but with the
         confidence to tackle GET IN
          challenges—whether TOUCH WITH
         in Maths, Science,
         or life.” JSJ TUITION
