Many families went out of their
way to be hospitable, offering
drink breaks for tired parents
and great treats for kids. We
were even offered dinner at a
couple of homes!

We said we were going to
give a ‘Best Street Vibe’ award
this year, and with so many
streets taking part, the top
four had to be put to a vote
on our Neighbourhood Page!
Congratulations to the Brophys
for once again knocking it out
of the park with their haunted
house, and to their neighbours,
the Forresters, for keeping the
street party going!

Special mention goes to
Meidoring Place, especially
the camouflaged guy scaring
visitors! The Golden Ash street
party had all the neighbours
out in their cul-de-sac, and
Keurboom Crescent was carried
by Desi Horseman’s table of
goodies and haunted house, as
well as the neighbours down
the road offering Pregos to tired
parents!

And the results are in.
The votes were:
• Raintree Crescent: 53%
• Meidoring Place: 24%
• Golden Ash: 17%
• Keurboom Crescent: 6%

Well done to everyone
who took part! Let’s aim

to increase the number
of Halloween homes
next year because if just
one house in a street

participates, it’s often
missed. The more homes
that take part, the better
the spread in the estate

and the greater the fun!
This year was brilliant,
so let’s make the next
Halloween even better.
