TRICK OR TREAT FUN AT FOURWAYS GARDENS
October 2022
his awesome event has
become a highlight of
many residents’ social
Tcalendars! Families
walking together, getting
to know neighbours, street
parties, kids laughing and
getting sweets – all-in-all just a
whole lot of fun!
The day started at 6am with
Social Committee members,
Carmel Peinke and Lizette and
Michael Durig helping the
estate staff and Pam Golding
Properties decorate the main
circle between Phase 1 and
Phase 2. It was so much fun
seeing our surprised residents’
reactions – kids waved,
adults hooted, and the festive
atmosphere started building.
When the Trick or Treating
started at 6pm, the roads were
filled with scary characters
begging for sweets. We
included older children this
year and it went very well, with
many residents commenting
on their creative outfits and
wicked sense of humour! It was
wonderful to see so few parents
driving around this year, as most
walked the estate and took time
to talk to one another.
