Property Practitioners Act enforces a
Mandatory Condition Report, to be
completed by homeowners, whether selling
or renting. The homeowner is required to
complete a comprehensive list of any
defects that he/she is aware of on their
property, at the point of listing. This is
applicable to sales and rentals. The
purchaser/tenant can then make an
informed decision on the property and they
may elect to carry out their own inspection
on the property. If they proceed they will
have to accept the Condition Report, as
documented by the homeowner. Should you
