QUIZ NIGHT

ith seven points separating
the top four teams, the
April Quiz Night was closely
Wcontested! Dayle was as
engaging as always and ensured that the
quiz was challenging and fun!

Newcomers, The Whiskey and the Winesteins
proved that numbers aren’t everything,
placing fourth with just four team members
– they are certainly a team to keep an eye on!
First place went to Team April, their second
first place in the 2022 Quiz Season, winning
Jack Black Lager, Jack Black Cape Pale Ale
and the first place cash prize. Trivia Newton
John placed second, just three points behind
the winning team, and separated from the
third placed team, Tequila Mockingbird, by
three points in turn.

Three of the four top teams were newcomers,
which proves that it’s never too late to join in
the fun!

For the Fourways Gardens Quiz League,
teams earn a bonus point for each successive
quiz night they attend, which is added to
their cumulative quiz scores.

Our League placements are:
1. Paperbark Profs (120 points)
2. The Keips (Team February/Team April)
(115 points)
3. The Dedicators (108 points)
4. Team Cambark (104 points)
5. Friends and The Ugly (each with 94 points)

The Quiz League will have a grand prize for
the champions in November 2022, so we
encourage our brainy contenders to do as
much Wikipedia exploring as possible!
