WINE FAIR

The May Mega Wine Fair was a

spectacular event!

ith Leoté bringing her soulful
charisma and inimitable
range, all were kept well
Wentertained. Leoté gave
flawless renditions of songs requested
and, on more than one occasion, had us all
singing along!

Lee from The Wine Store brought an
enviable selection of wines – 13 wines to be
exact! With expert knowledge, Lee was able
to answer the most challenging technical
questions and ensured that there was more
than enough wine for a tasting or two or
three!

Ayama Carignan and Vermintino were
among the rare wines that were available
for sampling, and the standard varietals also
gave a strong showing with comparative
tastings across the varying farms.

Joe from Appellation likewise gave a
generous and well-informed tasting on the
Baleia and Vondeling wines, with Baleia
performing well on the day.

Tyson Properties’ generous hamper was
won by Gillian Pacheco, whose exuberance
and excitement at winning had us all
cheering!

The Club thanks Tyson Properties for their
continued partnership to ensure that
the Wine Fair remains a highlight of the
Fourways Gardens social calendar!
