packages” – this adage

certainly proved true at our
June wine tasting!

fter a bumper tasting in May, we
had only two estates presenting
their wines, but what a great
Aselection there was! Zevenwacht
showcased their 7evens Sauvignon Blanc and
7evens Rosé, along with their Estate Merlot
and Estate Shiraz, while Beaumont had their
Chenin Blanc and show-stopping Pinotage
on offer.

With perfect weather and a cozy arrangement
of Wine Fair regulars and soon-to-be regulars,
there was more than enough wine for tasting
a second, third or even fourth time!

As the 7evens Sauvignon Blanc is a great 3-seater couch in Soho
everyday choice, there was much demand Cement, a Luxury fabric
for this wine. Similarly, the Beaumont Chenin
Blanc is a popular wine for our glorious
Highveld winter afternoons.

Unsurprisingly, the red wines stole our hearts,
and the Beaumont Pinotage was a favourite –
much to the dismay of the patrons, as it was
the most expensive of the wines on offer, but
worthy of the price-tag!

Alice Macintyre won the Tyson lucky draw
which included a bottle of the sought-after
Beaumont Pinotage. Covered in style
