Rugby at The Club!
utting the brand new event speakers in the hall and the 70-inch
TV in the bar to good use, The Club screened the three-test series
PSpringboks vs Wales matches.
Each week, the bookings filled up quicker and quicker, and by the time
the third match rolled around, there wasn’t a spare seat to be found
anywhere!
Adding the kiddies’ entertainment zone proved to be a real hit with the
junior VIP’s who also won prizes in the half time activities. The Club’s
popcorn machine could not keep up, with each batch selling out as
soon as – or even before – it was ready!
Snack platters made hosting friends easy and no fuss, and our
concession stand also had kettle fried crisps, biltong and dry wors for
quick snacking!
The Club thanks South African Breweries for their partnership – the
wildly popular Castle Lite Happy Hour saw more than 150 free Castle
Lite Draughts poured over the three match period!
The Club will be screening the upcoming All Blacks tour in August, so

platforms!
