QUIZ NIGHT

f one thing is for certain, it’s that Quiz Night is always a fun
evening! Our second Quiz Night of the year saw 13 teams
competing for glory and prizes. With a variety of questions,
Iour quizzers had their work cut out for them as they unraveled
riddles, debated dance tracks and made the (occasional) wild guess.

Incredibly generous cash prizes were the line, sponsored by
Francesca Beattie Properties. R1 000 for first place, R500 for second
place and R250 for third place, along with the usual bragging rights!

First place was claimed by The Drinking Cubs, who showed they
were fierce competition indeed. Second place was awarded to The
Wild Roses, and third place to Mon Chi Chi’s.

With a bit of embarrassment, adjudication of the results revealed
that Two Infinity were the rightful second-place winners, and their
points in the league will reflect this.

In addition to the cash prizes for the quiz, there were three lucky
draw prizes, including a cake voucher for a custom-made Roberta
Lewis cake to the value of R850!

If you are thinking of joining us for our next Quiz Night, you have
plenty of time to brush up on your trivia and general knowledge,
be sure not to miss it!
