CLASSICS CLUB

CHRISTMAS

PARTY

e had our first Classics Club
Christmas party in Fourways
Gardens on 1st December 2023
Wand what fun it was! We had a
joint party with the Lonehill Senior Citizens
Coffee Club and with over 65 people attending,
it was very memorable!

Thank you to Malherbex who sponsored the DJ as
well as the wines on the tables – this made a huge
difference in creating an awesome function!

The evening kicked off at 6pm with drinks and
socialising and getting to know new people.

The Fourways Gardens Bistro served amazing
starters, followed by delicious mains – and
keeping track of all these orders was no small
feat for our waiters. Thanks guys – you did a
fantastic job!

Santa Claus arrived to hand out some great
lucky draw prizes – thank you to Lite Optec,
Lorna & Adele. We had a beautiful Santa’s
fairy who added a lot of festive cheer to the
happenings! Thanks to our willing Clause
volunteers – for bringing fun into the evening.

After desserts, we headed for the dance
floor and to those who could not dance, we
improvised with chairs and support and lots
of fun was had by all! Always good to jive
to your favourite tunes which Duane Mans
from Discotech kindly obliged! The rest were
socialising up a storm and watching the comical
events happening on the dance floor!

The evening drew to a close with lots still wanting
to party but ubers and lifts were waiting! We’ll
have to start partying earlier next year!

Thank you to everyone that joined and
participated in our first Christmas party, we had
lots of fun with you all!
