QUIZ NIGHT

Friday, 16 February

e had a strong showing for our
first Quiz Night of 2024 with
many regulars, some new faces,
Wand our favourite Quiz Master,
Dayle! Sponsors Francesca Beattie Properties
and Snyman’s Inc Attorneys provided plenty
of incentive to win, with R1,750 in cash prizes
and two lucky draw prizes to be won.

Like many other Fourways Gardens Quiz
Nights, this Friday’s quiz was again very
closely contested – a mere half a point
separated each consecutive team ranking
from first to fourth! Third place was Team
Keip, who are the team to keep an eye on as
they won the 2023 Quiz League. The Bald and
The Beautiful won second place, much to the
dismay of their better halves, The Paperbark
Profs! Team Friends, who, after seeing the
difference consistency makes to the League,
will undoubtedly do their best not to miss
any quizzes on our calendar this year, won
first place!
The lucky draw prizes from Francesca Beattie
Properties caught all our eyes, and the
winner of a new hamper, Biltong and Beer,
was Candice Hawkins. Andy Challis won the
Wine and Cheese hamper, which is perfect for
unwinding after a long evening of wracking
your brains for obscure trivia nuggets!
This year, we have also introduced a floating
trophy, which will take pride in being placed
on the table of the winning team at their
next quiz. So, if you see a team with a brightly
coloured brain trophy on their table, they’re
the ones to beat! We thank our sponsors,

Inc. Attorneys, for making this event so highly
anticipated!
