SALE

hat bargains were to be
found at the Car Boot Sale
held at the Phase 2 Soccer
WPark on Sunday, 3 March
2024! Unlike last December’s Car Boot Sale,
on this day, the weather could not have
been better – clear skies and plenty of sun!
Our stallholders ensured there was shade
at their stalls with gazebos and umbrellas,
making sure that their shoppers could
browse in comfort. With a selection of
household goods, clothing, toys and
collectibles, there were unique finds at each
stall.
There was also a Lost-and-Found table
where residents could browse for misplaced
items – helmets were the predominant
lost property, and the most bizarre lost
property was either the lone TV remote
or the office chair! Upon claiming lost
property, the register had to be completed
under the watchful gaze of the security
officer appointed to this table and quite a
few items were reunited with their rightful
owners.
The popularity of the Car Boot Sale and
community spirit means that we will
certainly hold more, so if you have some
treasures that you no longer want in the
house, keep an eye open for news of the
next Car Boot Sale.
