with the list ever-evolving. Some of them
are fads, while others are timeless classics that stand the test of time.

art pieces and rich historical details to
create a calm space. Traditional style
revolves around a dark and warm colour
palette, ornate furniture with lots of tufted
detailing and carved pieces. Symmetry is
also a big thing in conventional design.
Modern interior design was born in the 20th
century. The contemporary style focuses on
a monochromatic colour scheme, minimal
furniture and decoration, geometric forms
and efficient storage. To focus on a highly
functional space with effortless details and
lots of storage, a modern design is perfect
for your taste.
Contemporary and modern interior designs
are probably this list’s most interchanged
and misused terms. Although these two modern
are related by definition, they are different
