growing by the month – all the
Singredients for a perfect evening at
the Monthly Draw!

Despite the nip in the May air, residents
turned out in full force, undeterred and
eager for a chance at the prizes. Our long-
standing sponsor, Kymn Grant-Smith
from Century 21, was on hand to ensure
every hopeful received their lucky draw
entry, with a bit of help from our talented
musician, who added excitement by
counting down to the moment everyone
was waiting for.

The lucky draw kicked off the evening with
a win for Liza Nolte, who walked away with
one of the beautifully curated hampers. The
second hamper went to none other than
Sally Bernhard, who just happened to be
in town for the weekend – talk about great
timing!

Of course, no Monthly Draw is complete
without a bit of light-hearted drama. When
the surname “Booth” was called out, the
crowd burst into cheers… only to realise it
was the other Booth! Fortunately, Kymn’s
quick thinking saved the day – not only
was a second kiddies prize arranged, but a
photo op was booked. Crisis averted, smiles
all round!

Looking ahead, June’s Monthly Draw is not
one to miss – the cash kitty has climbed to
a cool R4,500. Just a reminder: to claim the
prize, you’ll need to be present at the draw
and in good standing with the HOA.
