Are you creative? Do you have a pet that makes you laugh, smile, or say “aww”?
Then this is the competition for YOU!
nimals Matter is on the hunt for
the most imaginative kids on the
estate – with a little help from
Ayour furry, fluffy, or feathered
best friends!
Whether your pet is a dog, cat, hamster,
bird, or even a fish, we want to see how
much they mean to you!
There are three awesome ways to enter and
stand a chance to win:
1. Best hand-drawn picture of your
critter
Grab your pencils, crayons, paints,
whatever you like and draw your pet!
Your picture can be colourful or black and
white, silly or serious, realistic or cartoon-
style. Just use your imagination and show
us your critter in action!
2. Cutest dress-up photo of you and
your critter
Does your pet look adorable in a bow tie or
sunglasses? Do you like dressing up too?
Put together your cutest look – just make
sure your pet is comfy and happy, and snap
a photo together.
TIP: Have someone ready to take the photo Before we hand out the prizes…
quickly so your pet doesn’t get grumpy! You’ll get to see a clicker training demo, where we’ll show how animals learn with kindness
and fun.
3. Best written story about a critter

Jeanette Furstenburg is a certified animal behaviourist. She holds a diploma in Companion Animal
Behaviour (DipCABT) with distinction. She is a member of the COAPE Endorsed Association of Applied Pet
Behaviourists and Trainers International (CABTi), which is a member of the UK Dog Behaviour & Training
Charter 2025. She is part of the International Companion Animal Network (ICAN). In addition, she on the
board of the South African Board for Companion Animal Professionals (SABCAP).
