MONTHly
dRAW
Friday, 30 May
ust like June’s Quiz Night, the
Monthly Draw enjoyed the support
of generous guest sponsors. 24/7
JSecurity Services sponsored the
R4,500 cash prize, with additional lucky
draw prizes from Delaire Graff Wines and
Gemelle Beauty Studio. Alongside the cosy
fireside setting, live music, and guaranteed
cash prize draw, the evening featured a
popular new addition – Burn the Bill! Two
lucky tables each had R500 deducted from
their bills, courtesy of Belinda and The
Gardens Bistro team.
The Kiddies’ Prize went to Ciaran Human,
who won a prize hamper and kindly offered
up the colouring-in book (already having a
copy) for a second draw. A delighted Kev
Ho Lam claimed the book, and Ciaran’s
thoughtfulness and good manners were
warmly applauded.
Three Gemelle Beauty Studio vouchers
were awarded: Justin Hawkins scored
a mani-pedi, Andy Oosthuysen a lash
treatment, and Kim van der Walt the third
beauty voucher. Whether the gents passed
them on or decided to embrace their inner
glamour remains to be seen! Delaire Graff
wine hampers were won by Kieren Rhodes,
Sue de Boer and Roland Glass before we
got down to the main event – the Cash
Draw. With three absent would-be winners,
we finally drew from the completed entry
slips of those present. After confirming
eligibility, a thrilled Kerry Glass stepped
forward to claim the cash prize.
To wrap up the night, two Burn the Bill
winners – Justin Clarke and Caitlyn Porteus,
each received R500 off their bill. Don’t
miss the next Monthly Draw for more live
entertainment, spot prizes, cash wins, and
the return of Burn the Bill!
