Lamington National Park lies on the
Queensland/New South Wales border
in Australia and is known for its natural
environment, rainforests, birdlife, ancient
trees and walking trails. Although only 30 km
from the Pacific coast most of the park is 900m
above sea level and forms part of a World
Heritage Area. David Attenborough visited
the park in 1979 while making the television Climbing to the
series “Life on Earth” in which the park’s observation
