SILVER LAKES HOSTS GAUTENG

NORTH CHAMPIONSHIPS

young man who grew up in Shoshanguve
and was introduced to golf through the
South African Golf Development board. He
was introduced to me in 2016 as someone
who would love to further his golf career
by studying through the African Turf
Academy based at the academy here at
Silver Lakes. African Turf Academy is our
education programme that trains those
interested in becoming the future golf
course managers, while they continue
their pursuit of becoming professional
golfers.

The R&A give us some funding each
year to help young people like Kifentse,
so I had no hesitation in offering him a
full scholarship to the ATA programme
