First impressions count
For each individual home it is called
“pavement appeal” by the specialists
– the first impression a visitor or buyer
of a property experiences. It’s the most
important psychological influence of any
property.
This month, we discuss what Silver Lakes
has been trying to do to create and
improve that first impression not only
through the Architectural and Building
Construction Rules of EH Silver Lakes
Homeowners Association NPC, but also
through many years of maintenance
and development of the estate and golf
course.
I will talk more about the tree-planting
programme that began with the original
developers more than 30 years ago
and the maintenance of these trees.
I’m talking about maintenance of not
only the greenery on the estate streets,
communal areas and golf course, but also
of the buildings and hard elements such
as bridges, walls and dustbins.
