ESTATE NEWS

        more desirable for residents, businesses
and visitors alike. Through many years
of research, it was proved to play a
        significant role in influencing property
        values.

        First impressions count
For each individual home it is called
        “pavement appeal” by the specialists
        – the first impression a visitor or buyer
of a property experiences. It’s the most
        important psychological influence of any
        property.

This month, we discuss what Silver Lakes
has been trying to do to create and
improve that first impression not only
        through the Architectural and Building
Construction Rules of EH Silver Lakes
        Homeowners Association NPC, but also
        through many years of maintenance
and development of the estate and golf
        course.

I will talk more about the tree-planting
programme that began with the original
developers more than 30 years ago
and the maintenance of these trees.
I’m talking about maintenance of not
only the greenery on the estate streets,
communal areas and golf course, but also
of the buildings and hard elements such
        as bridges, walls and dustbins.
