KITCHEN GADGETS
What colour appliances are most popular? KITCHEN
White appliances are back in style. White brightens
up the kitchen space and is easy to clean, making it a
favourite among homeowners (especially moms!). GADGETS

Homeowners can count on stainless steel as a consistently
popular appliance option for years to come. White and
black stainless steel are also among the popular choices
for appliances, and panel-ready appliances can be
customised to blend in with kitchen cabinets.

Neither a home nor a kitchen must be limited to only
one design style. Incorporating multiple aesthetics
enhances the look and feel of a space without you
having to hire a professional interior designer.

Part of the fun of cooking is using cool kitchen gadgets,
be it small kitchen tools or larger countertop appliances.
There is a vast array of products to choose from,
depending on what you need to help you work smarter
        and faster.

There is no doubt that the Air Fryer and Instant Pot
have become the ‘it’ appliances in the kitchen. Electric
pressure cookers have been relegated to the back
        cupboard.

Avocados can be tricky to open, especially if one is not
confident with a knife. If you find yourself constantly
reaching for this nutritious vegetable, investing in an
avocado cutter would be wise. It will make the job safer
and more accessible as the cutting edge is plastic.

A mandolin is a handy slicing device typically used to
make even cuts for potato gratin, homemade potato
chips, or French fries. It can also be used for various fruits
        and vegetables.

A swivel peeler is an essential kitchen gadget that’s
bound to last you a long time. It’s used for peeling
        potatoes, apples and other vegetables.

A micro plane grater, also called a ‘zester’, can be a
massive asset in the kitchen as it can handle zesting
citrus, hard cheese, ginger, nutmeg and even chocolate.

An immersion blender can do almost everything a
countertop blender can, but it has a few extra tricks.
It can crush ice, blend drinks and emulsify dressings,
which is handy when making mayonnaise and puréeing
        soft vegetables.

Every kitchen also needs a great can opener, coffee
        grinder, citrus squeezer/juicer, wooden spoons,
potholders, cutting board, knife sharpener and wine
        opener, to mention a few.
