Casandra Alexander was missed on the
course this year due to injury. “It was such
a shame for our ambassador to miss this
special tournament,” says Marais, “But
she still brought her signature spark,
entertaining VIPs and providing insightful
behind-the-scenes commentary on
SuperSport alongside OG Molefe.”
While Tandi McCallum put in a strong
showing for the ladies, this year’s top
honours largely went to the men, with
organisers keen to foster greater female
participation in future tournaments.
Plans are already in motion to elevate
the event even further. Discussions are
underway to bring additional sponsors
on board, aiming to enhance the overall
experience for everyone involved. The
massive success of this year’s Waterfall
City Tournament of Champions, marked
by its top-quality execution and positive
player feedback, reinforces its status as
a premier event on the golfing calendar.
The goal remains steadfast: to create a
tournament that is as enjoyable for the
players as it is for the spectators, and by
all accounts, Waterfall City hit that mark
beautifully.
