On the first Tuesday of each month, a Government Department i.e. fuel efficiency

I’m concerned about the safety of a gas installation.
How do you know if you have a gas leak?
LP Gas has no smell. Strongly smelling Ethyl Mercaptan is normally
added to it, so the leaks can be detected long before the vapour
condensation in the air reaches flammable limits.

Is there any maintenance required on my gas installation?
Yes, the gas reticulation system must be inspected yearly and should
be maintained by a registered gas practitioner. Your gas installation
will be checked for rupture, cracking, chafing or perishing. It will
        also undergo a pressure test.
It is important that each component of the gas installation is
replaced at the end of its lifespan to ensure maintaining safety
        standards.

Are there restrictions regarding where LP gas cannot be installed?
Yes, there are restrictions. LP Gas installations must maintain
specific distances from doors, windows, drains, and electrical points
        to mitigate potential risks.
