GARDENS
Boulders are another way to enhance your garden,
enabling you to create a beautiful space. Take this
seating arrangement, above: it is a social yet private
outdoor room, and the cushions add a cosy feel.
Boulders allow you to use fewer plants while still
achieving a gorgeous focal point. They work well under
trees – see how the greenery softens the look, below.
If your garden is not on a flat surface, you can use various-sized
boulders and rocks to create a terrace while guarding against
erosion.
You can also create a beautiful garden against a wall by using
different shades of green along with a collection of boulders.
On flat ground, two or three large boulders are enough
to make an eye-catching feature of your garden.
