LIFESTYLE
ver the years, I have found that you can re-use almost
anything. Take onion skins, for instance: you can
Othrow the skins in the fire when braaing for a nice,
smokey fragrance.
I began recycling glass bottles many years ago and making
gifts out of them. Below are some examples of how one can
get creative with a simple bottle:
Gebruik verskillende grootte en vorm bottels om te verfraai
as ’n stel. Hierdie is unieke handgemaakte geskenke –
niemand anders gaan presies so ’n bottle besit nie.
Gebruikte koffie bottels kan gebruik word as ’n stel van
“koffie, melk en suiker”.
Using any size bottle, you can create a gift for someone to
use and enjoy.
It’s fun to convert a plain old bottle into a work of art. You
can use anything to enhance it – buttons, wooden hearts,
coloured ropes or string, flowers, etc.
Given that the bottles I decorate are all made of glass,
whoever I create a gift for can also use it as a vase – even
placing a single flower in water can enhance the look.
Go ahead and do some recycling. It’s good for you physically
and mentally, and it helps maintain the natural environment.
Plus, you’ll enjoy creating something unique for friends and
family.
