When I started this most addictive hobby about three and a half years
ago, my biggest challenge was getting a reasonably sharp image of a bird
perched on a branch! Well, things have progressed somewhat since then.
Now, the challenge is to capture a decent BIF, which, by the way, is birder
speak for 'birds in flight,' and it's high on the list of desirable photographic
achievements. I go out and practice regularly at Rietvlei Nature Reserve, and
every now and again, I get lucky. Here are some of my recent BIF pics.
