hold onto the original Title Deeds in their “vault”. We are

experiencing some delays at this point in the conveyancing
process as someone has to go to the vault to retrieve the file.
With the lockdown, this is not always a speedy process. So, I
thought I would share this with residents that may be selling or
considering selling. If you can try and organize a copy of your
Title Deeds, it would be very helpful for a smooth transaction.
In fact it is ideal for every homeowner to have a copy of their
Title Deed. If the Title Deed is lost, yes it does happen, the sale
can delayed by up to 6 weeks. Those homeowners that are still
registered in companies, make sure you are still registered and
paying your annual Cipro fee. If your company is de-registered,
it no longer holds the asset. There is no guarantee for a
re-registration and you are facing months of delay on your sale
being finalized. Sales are still moving well in all the Estates and
we hope this continues. We need homes for sale and rent!
