his professional couple were
attracted to the 25+ year old home
in a leafy avenue because it had
tgreat potential and a good sized
garden. they started the renovation in april
2017 and completed it in August 2017 – in
the process, demolishing the whole of the
interior, as it was full of walls, small spaces and Pub area after, (below), pub area before (above right)
dark passages.
one of the owners has a knack for interior
decorating developed from her background
in retail styling and a course in landscaping.
she found inspiration in Garden and Home,
Conde Nast and european magazines such as
House and Garden.
the style of the interior is contemporary,
combined with antiques and older lovely
pieces from her husband’s family farm, along
with new, contemporary pieces, pulled
together by their collection of beautiful and
relevant artwork.
