FESTIVAL

ith Trick or Treat scheduled
for the late afternoon of
Saturday, 4 November, it
Wwould be fair to say that
there was a Trick or Treat for the grown-ups
at The Gardens Bistro – our 2023 Bubbles
Festival!
Impressive selections of MCCs were on offer
to sample and order from Bon Courage,
Kleine Zalze, Krone, and Spier, along with a
delightful mixed selection of other Vinimark
bubbles. We were exceptionally lucky to
have the premier Bon Courage bubbles
– the Jacques Bruere vintage selection –
available and Kleine Zalze kept us going
back for more! In the mixed selection, the
Groot Constantia Brut had a good number
of admirers, but it has to be said that Nitida’s
The Matriarch was the clear favourite on the
day.

Tyson Properties sponsored the live music
on the day, and as always, a Tyson hamper
was up for grabs (including a bottle each
of Kleine Zalze Cape Nectar and Krone
Rosé). Kelly Scotti won this special prize,
and the STBB hamper was won by Teresa
Patuel – congratulations! In addition to the
hampers, we also had two bottles of MCC to
give away: a bottle of Nitida The Matriarch
was won by Rupert Pulvermann, and Laura
Cox won a bottle of Groot Constantia.

the Wine Events for many years, and we
look forward to many more exceptional
wine events at Fourways Gardens! Thank
you to our residents who always make our
wine events such fun and are the reason
that we can attract so many wonderful
wine estates to present their wines.
