QUIZ NIGHT

ur October Quiz Night was well
attended, as the Quiz Nights
always are! With delicious meals
Ofrom The Gardens Bistro, our
quizzers were ready to tackle an admittedly
challenging quiz – only the first-place team,
Team Keip, cracked the sixty-point mark
with 62 points to claim their R1 000 cash
prize! The following four placements were
separated by only a point each, and team
Guests secured the R500 second prize with
56.5 points, while The Cool Cats’ respectable
55.5 points earned them third place and
R250 in cash. Honourable mentions went
to Breytenbach’s (54.5 points) and Stickers &
Googly Eyes (53.5 points).

As Halloween was around the corner,
teams could get a bonus bonus point
if all team members were in costume
and stayed in their outfits for the entire
duration of the quiz (an unexpected
twist!). The lucky draw prizes were very
favourably received, with Genevieve
Coetzee winning the wine hamper and
Simone Forshaw walking away with the
chocolates and bubbles ice bucket.

Our 2023 Quiz League draws to a close
with the November Quiz Night, and we
have a great prize lined up for the team
