SPRING

WINE FAIR

Saturday, 2 September

Four wine farms and 16 wines,
live music and perfect weather –
what’s not to like?

e were pleased to have
Krone, Spier, La Bri and
Groot Constantia present a
Wselection of wines for tasting
at our Spring Wine Fair. As expected on this
sunny Saturday, the bubblies were first (and
second, and third) choice for our attendees.
The white and blush wines from La Bri and
Groot Constantia proved popular, and the
Spier Good Natured range found favour too.

Tyson Properties, the sponsor at our
wine events, sponsored live music. The
dynamic duo who performed kept the
jolly atmosphere going and guests were
entertained until well after the official 3pm
cut-off for the wine fair!

Two prizes were up for grabs, including a
chilled bottle of Krone Brut. Linda, Dee and
Sally from Tyson Properties conducted the
draw. The Hammond Pole Attorneys prize
was won by former resident Christian Bell,
who was visiting from the UK.

Gayle Ouzman was ecstatic after winning
the Tyson hamper, which included a bottle
of La Bri Chardonnay. She said: “Thank you,
Tyson Properties, for my gorgeous hamper.
It was a super surprise and prize! And thanks
to all the organisers; lots of fun was had.”

Thank you to Tyson Properties, Vinimark
and The Gardens Bistro team for making
the event so enjoyable.
