QUIZ NIGHT

family and more! The October
Quiz Night took on a decidedly
Aspooky atmosphere! Almost all
the teams dressed in a nod to Halloween
to get a bonus point, and as we all know, a
bonus point can make all the difference to a
team’s final placement!

With her arsenal of questions designed
to put our Quizzers through their paces,
Dayle’s quiz had a light sprinkling of
Halloween trivia – movies, music and pop-
culture references. Cinephiles certainly
had an advantage when answering these
questions!

As always there was plenty of light-hearted
banter, and especially when teams were
trying to convince Dayle to accept their
answers… However, the first rule of Quiz
Night stands: the Quiz Master’s answer is
final!

Whether it was the costumes, The Garden’s
Bistro’s Halloween décor, incredible brains
or dumb luck, our Quizzers performed well
again, and our top two teams were closely
matched – in true Fourways Gardens style –
with a newcomer to the podium!

Friends outperformed Team of the Month by
a mere half-point to clinch first place. Third-
placed newcomers, The Cullenhams showed
that it’s not about quantity, but quantity –
this is a team to keep an eye on! The lucky
draw was once again well received, and we
thank Club Real Estate for their sponsorship
of the prizes, that make Quiz Night such
a hotly contested family favourite at
Fourways Gardens!

Our final Quiz Night for the year was held
on Friday, 22 November and took on a
Festive, Merry theme.
