FWG DOMESTIC FORUM

he domestic staff members in
Fourways Gardens Estate were
invited to the safety forum,
Theld on 12 November. These
sessions have proven to be incredibly
popular as staff members are empowered
through knowledge to handle everyday
emergencies.

Speakers from FireOps discussed the
various types of fires one could encounter
in a home and how each should be
extinguished. Netcare911 presented a
basic but thorough CPR presentation and
advised how to handle a potential drowning
without putting yourself in harm’s way if
you are not water safe yourself.

SAPS discussed domestic violence and
how to deal with it in the community and
the home. Personal safety over the festive
season was discussed and tips were shared.

24/7 Security brought the K9 Unit and
shared invaluable information on pet care
during the heat, personal safety and basic
checks to ensure the family pet is healthy!

We wish to thank all the various
