QUIZ NIGHT

n addition to the fun and festivities Quiz
Night always brings, November’s Quiz
Night also saw the 2024 Quiz League
IWinners being announced amidst a
sea of funny festive hats and table décor
by committed (and competitive) regular
teams!

With some festive trivia seasoning the
rounds, teams battled it out to show their
intellectual prowess and prove that even
‘worthless’ trivia means a lot when it gets
you a point! True to form, this was another
closely contested quiz, and when Team of
the Month comes in at third place, you know
that competition was fierce! The Drinking
Cubs snuck past Team of the Month to claim
second place, with the Winesteins showing
that they are a force to be reckoned with!
Striking a winner’s pose for his photo, lucky
draw hamper winner Justin Clarke was
clearly pleased with his luck!

The Quiz League was won by Team of
the Month, which had a team present at
every Quiz Night of 2024 and showed the
importance of consistency for League
scoring. Congratulations to this team for
their second league win in a row! With a
prize of R3,000 up for grabs in the 2024
League (and set to increase for the 2025
League) we encourage every team to
ensure that they attend as many Quiz
Nights as possible to stand a good chance
of claiming the League Title, Golden Brain
and, of course, the moola!
