LIVING WALL WITH SOUTH AFRICAN INDIGENOUS PLANTS

Freelance ecologist Tania Anderson designs ecological gardens. She designed and
planted the vertical garden at House Miller in Parktown North, Johannesburg.
Anderson met the client, Joanne Miller, at a talk she gave on how to design
ecological gardens and she established that Miller was knowledgeable about
indigenous plants. The talk was held at BirdLife SA’s head office, Isdell House, in the
demonstration landscape comprising different biomes, named ‘Random Harvest
Indigenous Nursery Garden’ after the main sponsor of this interesting diversity
of plants. Other plants were sourced from Wildflower Nursery and additional rare
           plants from specialist growers.
