CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT WITH

CHARLIZE BERG

hristmas Carols evening is an annual highlight of the Silver
Lakes calender, and last year was no different. Our Carols by
CCandlelight event took place on Saturday,
2 December in the Clubhouse Park area. This
showcase event was made possible by the generous
sponsorship of Nik Prop Property Group.

Families came out with their picnic baskets, chairs and blankets, and
enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon with us. Refreshment and food stalls
were available.

There was entertainment for the kids from 4pm at the Clubhouse,
where Santa was at his best, sitting in a comfy chair listening to all the
kids’ wishes and shopping lists. As always, the visit from Santa was a
very special part of the afternoon as he handed out gifts.

Charlize Berg hit the stage at 6pm, encouraging the audience to enjoy
themselves and join in as she performed some of her best hits and
classic Christmas carols. Everyone was dancing and enjoying the
dazzling live concert!

This was very good fun and a wonderful way to end off 2023.
Thank you to our events manager, Daleen, the Silver Lakes supporting
staff and our residents who enjoyed the event with us.
