BIRDWATCHING BOAT CRUISE WITH LANCE ROBINSON
15 & 16 FEBRUARY 2025

Join us as we celebrate birds and nature at Mongena Private Game Lodge, just 35km from Pretoria in the
Big 5 Dinokeng Game Reserve. You will enjoy a guided boat cruise on the private 30-hectare dam and
waterways, followed by a birding-focused drive in a game viewer with Lance as your bird guide, Over 300
bird species have been recorded throughout the reserve.
R990 Cost: R990 per person {excludes the Rl00 per person daily conservation fee, plus R50 per vehicle
payable to the reserve). Excellent meals are available at Kingfisher Restaurant at Mongena. Please
note that space on the boat is limited and bookings will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis.
PER PERSON Mongena Lodge also boasts the excellent Kingfisher a la Carte Restaurant where you may enjoy a
meal after your cruise (for your account).
Meet at mongena reception at 05h30 for early morning coffee, boat cruise departs at 06h00 or at 16h30
(for afternoon cruise). We aim to be back between 09h30 and 10h00 (morning) and just after sunset
around 19h00 for the afternoon event.
NOTE THERE ARE 3 EVENTS TO CHOOSE FROM, ONE FOR SATURDAY MORNING 15 FEBRUARY, ONE FOR SATURDAY
AFTERNOON 15 FEBRUARY, AND ONE FOR SUNDAY MORNING 16 FEBRUARY.
