ABOUT W e have exciting news for all you foodies out there!
Waterfall Wilds is getting a makeover and with it
FOOD? comes a host of new gastronomic options, some of
which are scheduled to open next month already.
The retail centre currently boasts everyone’s favourite Greek restaurant,
Waterfall Wilds will Nostimo by Mythos, and the legendary steakhouse, Turn ‘n Tender
that has become the go-to preference for premium steaks, ribs and
soon be the new foodie burgers since it opened. Waterfall Wilds is now expanding its foodie
offering with three new restaurants to discover in November, including
destination of choice! a fabulous fine dining destination.
Mabu Restaurant
‘Mabu’ meaning soil, inspired by Umlilo (fire), offers
Asian-influenced tastes with African flare. Discover exotic
ingredients with bold flavours through fire, smoke, acidity,
and freshness – all perfectly paired with a well-balanced
wine list, showcasing some of South Africa’s best wine
farms. The menu features sustainable ingredients such as
crocodile, sea bass and Wagyu. At the helm of gastronomy
is the young, up-and-coming Chef Shanon Peters, who is
tasked with delivering a gourmet fine dining experience like
no other – a first for Waterfall City. The 200-seater restaurant
overlooks picturesque grasslands, combining indoor and
outdoor seating for lunch and dinner, delivering an all-day
fine dining journey.
