On the road, the cars are smooth and
comfortable, and the turbo motor gives
good performance with plenty in reserve
for overtaking. They are literally loaded with
every bell and whistle including features like
voice activation for numerous functions,
including opening and closing windows and
the sunroof!
The important announcement of the
prices proves that they are determined
to be very competitive, with pricing from
R269 900 as standard, and R359 900 for
the model tested.
All models include a 5-year/60 000km

evaluate their handling on the skid pan, take
them on a mild off-road course and then
through a mountain pass course. The cars
impressed through all the courses, especially
off-road, considering that they are front
wheel drive and not 4x4.
Pricing and exact specs have been kept
secret until now, but with the prices finally
disclosed, it’s clear that Chery is very serious
about wanting to succeed in this market.
