You recently took top honours in rhythmic
RHYTHM gymnastics at the Perfect 10 showcase
event. Could you tell us a little bit about the
competition and the team Cheetah’s you
belong to?
The Perfect 10 competition is an annual SA
WITH gymnastics competition where only a selected
few, from all gymnastics disciplines, get
chosen to compete and be judged in just one
routine to try and attain the perfect score of
SHANNON ten. This year I was delegated to the Cheetah
team but unfortunately due to the Covid
19 pandemic, we could not compete as we
usually do in groups together, but rather each
individual’s routine was filmed for the judges.

Rhythmic Gymnastics and was mesmerised.

interest that would pass but it persisted, as did
my nagging. I wanted to be on TV! So my mom
started looking for a club that offered the
sport. We did not find rhythmic gymnastics
but found artistic gymnastics at the Centurion
