            A small, colourful flycatcher, the
Cape Batis is commonly found in
gardens, parks, and woodlands. It is
a territorial bird and will often perch
on a prominent branch, waiting for
insects to fly past. It is a skilled
            aerialist, catching insects in mid-air
with acrobatic feats. Known for its
            distinctive tail-flicking display, the
Cape Batis is a popular bird with
            birdwatchers.
