         Welcome to

         4 weeks
         that's 672 hours or just

         40 320 minutes…

It's not actually that long . . . but in
         that time we:
         • reconfigured the bar to a multi-room
which can be hired for small functions –
and named it the Vine Room,
         • gave the toilets a little bit of a facelift,
         • got a talented artist to paint estate flora
          on the entrance hall wall,
         • removed three previous layers of tiles
          and retiled,
         • built a new bar and patio section,
         • removed the ceiling tiles, then
          waterproofed, insulated and reinforced
          the roof,
         • reworked the kitchen,
         • relocated the pizza oven and prep area,
         • planted 36 trees to start the screening
          process for our neighbours,
         • relandscaped with over 200 plants,
         • replumbed,
         • filled 14 rubbish skips,
         • redid the electrical circuits,
         • refashioned the stormwater drainage,
         • paved for better flow,
         • reconfigured the old restaurant
          storeroom into an ice-cream and
          milkshake area,
         • and relocated the playground equipment
to ensure a cohesive kids zone.

We also bought furniture, trained staff,
         painted walls, relocated windows and
         doors . . . It’s been a lot and, frankly, it took
a ton of people going the extra mile . . .

For the 2022 Board and our estate team,
it was the first major project we could
tick off our ‘TO DO LIST’ and, while that is
thanks enough, I would be remiss in not
taking the time and opportunity to thank
