DRAW

he Month-end Draw was held on
24 February at The Gardens Café
Bistro and Bar. The jackpot kitty up
Tfor grabs was up by R1 500 from
January – a very appealing R6 500 (yes, six
thousand and five hundred Rand!).

As expected, our restaurant was at full
capacity, with eager hopefuls filling all
seats in the restaurant, veranda and outside
areas! The talented Ross provided the
musical backdrop, and the Gardens Café
Bistro and Bar team kept our glasses full.

There was a kiddies’ draw, which was won
by Nathan Wade. Jens Langenhorst, was
the first runner-up for the ‘lucky draw’ prize
and Faizel Kaka, the second runner-up,
also claimed one of the generous hampers
courtesy of Century 21.

With these out of the way, it was time for
the main event – the jackpot draw of R6 500
– also generously sponsored by Century 21.
The lucky stand drawn belongs to Gayle
Kihn. She was in attendance and met the
criteria: being the homeowner and in good
standing with the estate. Gayle walked
away R6 500 richer than when she arrived
on her lucky Friday!
