braved the cold to enjoy a movie on the big
screen. Our annual Wine Festival was held in
September (take a look at the photographs
later in this issue). We were blown away
by the massive support for this event, with
larger crowds in the park than ever before.
It is fantastic to see every sector of our
Estate, both young and old, out enjoying
the festivities and meeting neighbours and
friends. By the time you read this, our fi nal
event being the Year End Market will have
taken place and I trust that everyone will
have had a fun day out in the park again. The
larger events have been supplemented with a
magic show for Halloween as well as several
Garage Sales, which have proved to be very
popular.
The Offi ce Teams would not have been able
to achieve everything they have without
the support of the Board of Directors. We
would like to thank them for their guidance
and belief in us to accomplish our various
missions over the last 12 months.
Our Maintenance Team are Ronald, Jerry,
Michael, Simon and Justice, led by Thomas.
During the year they have all attended a
specifi c artisan course and each one has
excelled, passing with fl ying colours. Their
commitment to the Estate is visible in
the high standard of maintenance being
undertaken and their pride shown in the
upliftment of the Estate's environment and
facilities.
Moses and Lassy head up the Compliance
Team under Lindani. They have the
Wave reader unenviable task of enforcing the CPM and
take a bit of fl ack along the way. Moses and
Lassy travel tirelessly around the Estate, not
only monitoring and checking for compliance
issues, but they deliver gas, bags and fi re
wood to Residents’ homes too, all under the
guidance of Lindani.
The Offi ce Administration Team comprises
Melody, Michelle, Zoleka and Victoria. These
ladies are well known for their willingness
to assist Residents in any way they can,
while keeping to the laid down rules and
principles of the HOA. They ensure that the
Estate’s Administration runs like a well-oiled
machine and that systems and processes
are constantly reviewed and enhanced for a
better customer experience.
I am humbled by the efforts of every member
of the Estate Team in their endeavours to
accomplish every task and challenge with
good humour and a ‘can do’ attitude. Thank
you Team!!!
Finally, I wish each and every one of you
a peaceful Festive Season fi lled with love,
laughter and joy. May 2020 bring you
prosperity, opportunity and success.
Warm Regards
Heather Bowes
