PROJECT

A mainly indigenous planting scheme was introduced to the new landscape, with a palette of blue, white, pink and mauve plant material.

           Appropriate end result
La Motte’s landscape is practical as well
as aesthetically pleasing; it supports the
operational needs of the estate, offers a
rich public experience and a commitment
           to long-term sustainability.
The end result is a restrained and
           contextually appropriate Cape werf –
one that reconnects the estate’s historic
architecture with a landscape that speaks
to its roots while meeting the needs of a
           contemporary working farm and visitor
           destination.
