NEW WAYS OF WORKING
The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated
the global trend towards remote
and hybrid ways of working.
South Africa is no different, and
we have seen a fundamental shift,
on a broader level, in how both
entrepreneurs and large businesses
regard the nature of work, as well
as from a commercial perspective,
what companies truly want from their
office spaces. In addition, the national
lockdowns have allowed business
leaders to reassess the nature of the
workplace and re-evaluate how flexible
office spaces can enhance productivity
and employee engagement.
IWG’s new site at Waterfall City
features all the amenities one
has come to expect from premier
remote work offerings, including
beautifully furnished, shared
boardroom facilities, a permanent
front-of-house reception area and
receptionists, as well as additional
features such as mail handling,
highspeed Wi-Fi, and kitchen facilities.
Like the Regus Lynnwood Bridge
premises, IWG’s Waterfall City site
offers a scalable workspace, which
is customisable to match the
tenant’s brand. These co-working
spaces can also facilitate growth
in one’s network through regular
engagement with like-minded,
vibrant, and ambitious professionals.
