               in our younger generation




                ow in its 14th year, the South African Sasol Solar Challenge
                was back in full force this year. Among the nine teams
                that participated was a group of high school learners that

                                                              winners for four consecutive years

                                                              Second place Challenger Class – Agoria Solar Team (4 189.9 km)
                                                              – first time participants that also achieved the longest day
                                                              distance of 609.4km

                                                              Local champions and winners of the Best African Team Award as
                                                              well as Third place in the Challenger Class – Tshwane University
                                                              of Technology Solar Team (2 767.4 km). Nominated to compete in
                                                              the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.
