MUSIC IN THE PARK

n Sunday 26 May we enjoyed a
lovely afternoon in the Park at the
OClubhouse. The weather was a bit
chilly, but that didn’t deter residents from
coming out. Families and friends brought
along their food baskets for a picnic while
enjoying live music performed by The
Shadows Experience Band.

The band put on a tribute show based
on Cliff and The Shadows Final Reunion
Concert, hosted in London in 2009. The
show covered most of Cliff Richard and
his band’s biggest hits, both vocal and
instrumental.

Silver Lakers had a wonderful time
enjoying the great 1960s masters of rock
and pop, brought back to life via this live
performance.
